@MikeFromLFE@cupoftea.social Yes, tricky if there aren’t two able-bodied people. It was Metacam in our case too, but not for an ulcer, although ours occasionally had that too (thankfully not too badly). Never figured out what caused it, but it stopped when we moved house.

Ours is no longer with us, but he turned up on the farm we lived on (rented house, not our farm) as a young adult un-neutered Tom and as we couldn’t find an owner, we took him in. We think he was born on one of the local farms. An absolute live-wire for 13 plus years until he died aged around 15.

@MikeFromLFE@cupoftea.social We had that problem. Allotment holders were filling the skip with rubbish from home, not their allotment. So the committee put CCTV on it. The next one took a couple of weeks to fill.

@MikeFromLFE@cupoftea.social I’ve been there and feel your (literal!) pain. It took two people: one kneeling on the floor to hold a very strong and pissed off cat between their knees, the other to open his mouth and empty the syringe into it. What’s the medication for?
