I often wonder when The NewsHour on PBS will start reading the names of the dead U.S. soldiers at the end of the program like they did during the Gulf War. It only seems fair.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social When laws stop working, the legal system breaks down and society soon follows. Look around and see more and more instances of ordinary people breaking rules, cheating, stealing, and simply not giving a single fuck. No point closing the barn door now.

Pedophiles can sure get defensive when you call them pedophiles. They hate to be lumped together with just any run-of-the-mill pedophile. In that way they are a lot like rapists and racists.
