Humans can be so all or nothing. The world would be a better place if people could just make an effort without abandoning what isn't perfect.
Instead of being vegan or eating the excessive amount of meat most Americans at least eat, people could reduce their consumption of meat.
If someone can't bring themselves to wear a n95 everywhere, wearing one to the doctor and on public transit would make a big difference still.
If you can't fix the whole world, why not fix something in your reach, instead of abandoning the whole world?
I think a lot of people who hate vegans or resent people in masks or other similar scenarios (heck, the amount of people who've gotten mad at me for refusing to use AI) are on some level angry about being reminded of their own complicity and the level of day to day violence of society.
Instead of getting mad at people for trying to do less harm, I wish more people would themselves try to do less harm in the ways they are able.
There really should be some kind of rule against requiring a driver's license for a job unless driving is actually a core aspect of the job.
Also if anyone has a job, preferably remote, give it to me. I need money, for surviving and stuff.
Reality needs to stop taking inspiration from my nightmares

That was actually mentally really difficult, I hope this dog knows I care about him lol
I'm really, really, sick of hearing people downplay how disabling autism can be after this past yearish of meltdowns.
It's been ROUGH.
And not particularly safe.
Fuck Denver Health for requiring phone calls for everything and leaving me completely dependent on others to access medical care.
People are way quicker to express heartbreak when a trans or disabled person dies than they are to actually support that person so they stay alive.
Supporting other people involves some level of risk, some times more risk sometimes less. If we don't ever take that risk what we get is dead people.
If you want alive people you have to actually help keep people alive. You, yes you. Can't just hope some magic person comes along to solve all the problems. You don't have to do everything and you can/should have boundries with it, but do something.
Doing nothing shouldn't be an option!
Also outside of overstimulation, I think five-points is probably my favorite area in Denver. I don't go over there often but the sidewalks aren't awful, and it has a lot of really cool looking places. There's this one place that sells pizza out of a wall, I've never had said pizza but it fascinates me.
I also have much better experiences with the Denver health clinic there compared to the hospital.
So I can use paint markers on my clothing and they keep the color through the wash...
...I'm very soon likely to be completely covered in bug drawings
Since the elevator incident, I'm really struggling to do simple shit
I've been finding self experimentation, when I take the proper time with it, more effective in finding solutions than trying to trust doctors or therapists
Considering advancing further with such practice on myself
My body is weird
I don't react to things the way I'm "supposed" to
...This may be primarily an impact of living under the American medical system
Trying to find someone resources in a state I'm not in is very difficult. I wish I could teleport them back to Denver, it would make this way easier.
After that last meltdown my nervous system is acting so over the top sensitive even compared to normal and I'm sick of it's shit.
I'm getting anxious as fuck seeing photographs of cigarettes. Fucking photographs. Normally, if it's not near my physical location I'm okay. Normally I could see someone smoking over a zoom call or something and give zero shits, as is though if I was on a zoom call and someone lit something I'd have to fucking leave.
I want this fucking nervous system to go the fuck back to normal and to be overreactive to only it's normal things. I'm sure it will with time but this SUCKS. Fuck this .
If I got a patch for Jack that said "Handler has severe smoke sensitivity" with a no-smoking symbol, do y'all think it would make the situation better or worse?
there's been a lot of talk about getting me more used to public transit over the years, particularly cuz I can't drive, but tbh after trying it I'm not sure it's actually safe for me to use (at least denver's) public transit with the severity of my sensory issues.
I guess I should still try. But not really sure what to do in the long run if I'm correct.
Maybe I should try learning to drive again? I feel like that's dangerous to myself and the larger public though.
People email Corey back, difficulty level "impossible"
I had a public sensory meltdown yesterday
That's scary af
0/10 do not recommend
My head hurts
What kind of fucking dick smokes in an elevator
I've literally been sitting here crying (only a little) in fear of leaving the apartment to take the dog out. I'm about to go do it but my nervous system is not happy with it.
This feels silly. Most of the time I'm okay.
Gosh darn in that elevator situation has me afraid to go outside. I'll have to for Jack.
Maybe I swapped universes again but I swear the duck episode of the dick van dyke show ended differently
Btw before I go trying to buy a patch from where ever, does anyone know any anti-disease people who'll make custom service dog patches that could use some business
Still need someone to help a likely about to be homeless queer disabled person and her cat in Austin Texas.
Still urgent.
Anyone in Texas able to help out a friend of mine?
Today I took a small bit of shrooms and then worked on a puzzle while high, for most of the day.
That was an enjoyable experience.
I wonder how long I'd try to go without leaving my apartment after something like yesterday if I don't have a dog depending on me for his bathroom breaks
Where tf are all the texas people anyway
Why are they so hard to find
Heck
Looking for a person in or near Austin Texas that can help a disabled trans woman out in a crisis situation
