These figures are cool.

MotU Chronicles Man-At-Arms
Another superb figure. The Idris Elba face sculpt is very well done too. My only 'complaint' is the figure doesn't hold the pistol properly like the Tri-Klops figure holds his rifle. Other than that it's excellent.

The reason I forgot the gun in Optimus Prime's DNA Design post? Because Death's Head 'borrowed' it as Hasbro didn't give him one. Kinda suits him though, yes?

@repeatro See, I wasn't keen on the pre-rendered aesthetics of Donkey Kong Country, Killer Instinct and such and I absolutely bought Yoshi's Island pretty much as soon as it was released and I loved it. It was full of neat graphical tricks that also added to the gameplay. And showed the SNES could still hold it's own against the PlayStation and Saturn for the time being.
And it's aged very nicely too. :)
Transformers x Back to the Future Gigawatt
This is the 40th Anniversary reissue of the figure that came out in 2020 (for BttF's then 30th Anniversary). Good figure I'd been wanting for a while but felt a bit expensive for it's size (deluxe scale and not very complex). Well, it's now £15 in The Entertainer so much better. 🙂
MotU Chronicles Skeletor
Wasn't too sure about this design but it's grown on me (still got issues with the problematic actor though). The figure is great and continues the high quality sculpt, paint, articulation of Chronicles.

MotU Chronicles Tri-Klops
Finally receiving some of my Chronicles figures and they really are great. The detail, paint, sculpt, articulation. Mattel have levelled up. Excellent Tri-Klops. All the joints move great and his visor rotates fine too. :)

I don't have Core Battle Cat so He-Man gere rides the old Mega Construx BC. Which I like to think is a mechanical recreation Man-At-Arms built for when the real Battle Cat is injured.

Artist Jacek Jaskowiak did a profile of the Transformer-like robot/car/spaceship Michael Jackson becomes in Moonwalker in the style of the classic profiles found in the 80s Transformers from Marvel Comics. :)
New Eternia Stratos pic. I still like this figure a lot.
I never noticed before that the oxygen mask is shaped like a beak.
This new MotU Chronicles Scare Glow figure coming out looks great. Lots of detail, has the new articulation and it's as big as the Masterverse one from 2021. I wonder how much it glows though.

Masterverse New Eternia Ram-Man
In classic gear and using the large axe from Revelation Savage He-Man.
The rubber on his legs hasn't deteriorated on mine (yet) like it has for other collectors.

One more. Just wanted one with a bit more natural lighting which in this case meant his eyes couldn't catch much light so I added effects to "light them up"
My friend has mix n matched parts from MotU x ThunderCats Wave 1 & 3 Lion-O's and ended up with one looking very much like the 80s cartoon colours and the other looking like the original 80s toy colours. Also he does 3D printing so made that cool claw shield
MotU Chronicles Trap Jaw
Again superb sculpt, paint, articulation. And has all my preferred elements of various Trap Jaw designs over the years plus looks even cooler somehow. Crazy to think a live action Trappy looks this good and yet so true to the original too. And those colours pop nicely.

My amateur repaint of the 5 inch tall Yolopark AMK Mini DotM Megatron. Second image is the stock photo for comparison. I slapped on some black wash, brown wash, a lil silver chrome in places and smeared some light reddish brown. Was fun to be so messy. 🙂
(Like Blokees, Yolopark did not include chains or cloak. I will have to source those sonehow)
Yolopark AMK Pro TLK Optimus Prime
Still one of my fave figures 🙂.

SOME CINEMAS HAD AKIRA AND IN 4K AND IT WAS ONLY ON APRIL 17TH AND I ONLY FIND OUT ABOUT IT ON MAY 2ND?
Dammit. I've seen Akira like a hundred times since 1993 but I'd LOVE to see it on the big screen.
Only anime I have seen at cinema was Ghost in the Shell in 1995 at the London Odeon. Was nice. :)

@mediocre_mik@mastodon.social also amusing to me that Ram-Man now has facial hair, when I kinda wished Revelation Ram-Man had his voice actor Danny Trejo's iconic moustache. :)
Oh and that Fisto figure has an alternate open hand so I guess in the movie his metal fist has working fingers. Makes sense. Why would you just make a solid fist when even on Earth we got prosthetic hands with fingers.
Though if we use the open hand it looks like he more 'Slappo' than 'Fisto'. :P

@mediocre_mik@mastodon.social yeah that was one reason I took photo of this one too. :)
Curious how his 'spring' power works in that. The figure has extensions going in between lower leg and boots that have like yellow energy bursting out of the green tubey trouser bits. Bit weird of those photos showing those bits being used when he's just walking or in battle stance. I would have thought they only used when he's launching himself.

This person removed them to have a look at the knee joints. And the upper thigh sections are actually molded with the tubed look too. Odd.

@mediocre_mik@mastodon.social Yeah I made a claw with the spider-legs before too when I first got him. But this bow I came up with accidentally.
And yeah he's probably the rarest and I seen him sell for 200 dollars before. Hope my tweaks didn't devalue mine too much. :P
M.Jackson Vs M.Bison
Only did this cos the names. Was a cool MJ mod for Street Fighter V a few years sgo though. That was fun.
- Cheap KO of the SH Figuarts MJ
- Jada Toys Ultra SFII M.Bison

I've got all the Vintage Collection released so far and I generally am not a fan. I find them boring. This upcoming Beast Man though? Actually looks decent. Colours pop nicely too.
I didn't even realise Iran was striking Abu Dhabi until my dad mentioned it this morning when collecting his garden tools I borrowed. My sister lives there and has been scared all night. I hope she and other innocent civilians there will be alright.
Found these figure photos from 2019 where I attempted to recreate the Spider-Man at desk meme using a Marvel Legends Spidey and a J. Jonah Jameson figure from the Spider-Man movie toyline. :P
My amateur repaint of the 5 inch tall Yolopark AMK Mini DotM Optimus Prime. Second image shows a stock photo for comparison. I added chrome all over the silver parts, some extra blue, some more gold and painted the energon swords as best I could.

@dramypsyd@ohai.social Dammit, so I'm in my Prime now at 43 but I turn 44 on Saturday so I won't be in my prime anymore. Until I reach 47 in a few years and then I'll be Prime again? :O

Youtube just reminding me that Martin Bashir's deceit and lies partially led to the deaths of two of the most famous people who ever lived.
McFarlane Dark Knight Trilogy Deluxe Theatrical Edition Bane
Still a good figure but they could have included the coat from the way cheaper Platinum release from a couple years ago. A broken Bat-cowl would have been nice too.

@repeatro oh but i get that a lot of people enjoy all three so it's probably just me being real picky. I will say they are still very playable and enjoyable but just not among my fave platformers for any reason. :)
This Norwegian newspaper tribute to Michael Jackson published in 1992 sure has an interesting choice of title for one of the articles...
I scribbled a bit on the image because I don't really want that word on my page but you get what it is.
I read a translation of the opening paragraph but nothing in that explains the title. Not sure there's any good reason that could.
