When you give a threat assessment program a million potential targets and ask it to rank threats, it ranks them. What it doesn't do is tell you that 999,999 of them aren't threats.

@WizWritaObscura@mastodon.social I wouldn't say Mastodon is anti-community. It's anti-algorithim. So any interactions you do have are because people actually want to interact. In that way, Mastodon is closer to the offline world in that when apathy strikes, it results in less interaction.
