So the alarm went off when I was in the teachers’ room, just before my class, and we definitely felt the shake, but the frightening part was that my kid was in Kumamoto with his dad this morning, and I didn’t know where they were at the time of the shake.
Thankfully his dad answered quickly and told me they were in Sakurajima, where nothing happened, and they are both safe 😮‍💨

I’m waiting for my next class in the part time teachers lounge, and I’m hearing the two university employees chatting and laughing and congratulating themselves on whatever they’re doing using cello tape, and it’s nice to be around joyful people ☺️

Oh shit, I just got a mail from someone who was watching the students taking the end-of-semester exam for a class of mine, saying that one of them was caught watching at their smartphone, and asking what I want to do.
I don’t know! Isn’t there a rule about that? Like automatic failing grade or something?
I don’t want to have to make a decision 😣
I want to be in holiday 😭

Every single pore of my body is sweating 🫠

I was just nearly run over by a fucking car going full speed in a narrow street. I had to duck behind a parked van, and the older gentleman with a cane on the other side of the street also had to move away, but he was slower than me, so the fucking asshole honked his horn at him •after• almost mowing the poor guy!

My kid to me (in French): Give me my phone please, I want to rinse some music
Me: ??
Him: ??
Me: Ah, 音楽を流したいのね
Him: Yeah, that's what I said

Fuuuuuck I just realized I forgot to bring the card I need to buy my ADHD meds (as I’m arriving late to the mental health clinic). I’ll have to come back 😩
That’s an hour and a half I’m loosing 😑

I had to go 3 times and spend about 3 hours inside Nishitetsu Hall to file my tax declaration, but man was it worth it! I’m getting back almost a full month of rent 🥳
