Do we have a follower with experience in Kotlin and Compose? We added our first Compose module (~1.5k LOC) and are looking for a quick code review. The most interesting feedback would be about the high-level architecture, not necessarily reviewing every line. If you are interested, please leave a message under this post or on our forum: https://forum.antennapod.org/t/looking-for-code-reviewer/8472

As always, #FOSDEM was awesome, and we were there! We met and talked shop with folks from @fdroidorg@floss.social and @weblate@fosstodon.org. Had chats about bottom navigation with random users who picked up AntennaPod stickers. And met up with key community members over dinner!
Already looking forward to next year 📻❤️ #Podcasts #OpenSource
We had our monthly community call yesterday. A quick report on what we discussed. Hot topic: the mystery crash on devices with Android 16.

Some AntennaPod contributors plan to join the FOSDEM conference in Brussels. Who would be interested in grabbing some drinks together? https://forum.antennapod.org/t/antennapod-fosdem/7923

@Deinos@mastorol.es It's not a service - podcasts can publish transcripts for their episodes. If they do, AntennaPod utilizes them. Technical details: https://podcasting2.org/docs/guides/how-to-add-transcripts-to-your-podcast
@bloodaxe@fosstodon.org We are not looking for money at the moment. Our expenses are covered (for the next 50 years, actually, if it doesn't get more expensive) and everything else just sits on the bank account unused. We would much prefer you donating to your favorite podcast(er)s instead, so they stay away from closed platforms and continue to offer the podcasts in the open RSS format.
@koehntopp@infosec.exchange That's not very actionable feedback. If you have any concrete feedback, please let us know on forum.antennapod.org, or maybe even join in and help improving it - AntennaPod is built by volunteers

In the next release you'll be able to set the sleep timer to an X number of episodes. That will probably address your request. (https://github.com/AntennaPod/AntennaPod/issues/2146)
@dichotomiker@dresden.network We do not analyze the deeplinks. The deeplink page is a static website and the contents are filled locally in the browser, not on the server. You can view the source code of our website here to confirm this: https://github.com/AntennaPod/antennapod.github.io The main reason for the deeplink is that average users are confused by rss links that just show "code" when clicking them, without any explanation what this is or how to start playing
