What I mean when I say I'm a fancy rat: living in a luxurious apartment by myself!
Only during Pride month, you can right click on any rodent pic in our game and pride flag hearts will randomly appear!
...joking, it's available all year, we never stop being gay
It's trans day of visibility today, it would mean a lot to me if you could share our little game around!!
The game's core team is very queer, composed of two people and one of them is a trans man ( @LukaTheMouse@gamedev.lgbt )!

When we started working on this game we knew our target was a tiny niche (rodent+animal crossing+picross??), and were discouraged sometimes as no one (publishers, showcases, etc) seemed to be interested in the game
A year later, we stand at 45K units sold! It's been honestly incredible!

Our primary goal was to introduce nonograms to new players in a more gentle way than most picross games, and it seems like we succeed!
Many players told us that Squeakross was their first nonogram, we got an award for Accessibility, and gave a talk

We could make the message a big more obvious if you quit and have spend over X time on a puzzle. The flow is like this because a lot of players quit when they made too many mistakes and they prefer to restart, so having to suspend it by default breaks that flow.
We'll look into it though and see if something can be done without altering the current flow!
