mastodon 4.7.3Ann Arbor's original Makerspace! We're a volunteer-run community education space for makers & hackers!
All Hands Active is a 501(c)(3) makerspace in Ann Arbor. We provide tools, materials, physical space, and expertise at low- or no-cost to local makers. We host classes, events, and free repair workshops. Our mission is to democratize access to the tools and materials needed to learn, create, and repair!
We need your support to keep our lights on and tools working! Please donate (any amount is appreciated) or share our posts to help spread the word.
Tonight at AHA: Repairsday (6 pm - 8 pm - in person)
Need to repair something? Bring your broken stuff to our FREE weekly repair event! If your gadgets' next destination would otherwise be the recycling or
landfill, we give repairing it our best shot!
Repairs are not guaranteed. We are not liable for damage or unsuccessful repairs. You must stay with your items.

Want to give an old computer new life? Escape Windows? Use an Operating System that offers you more customizability and control?
Let's try Linux! Bring a laptop, we'll have thumb drives with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on them so you can take it for a test drive, and even install if you want to make it permanent (but no pressure!).
A free service, open to the public. Donations are appreciated!
Do you have stuff around the house that is broken, or has stopped working — electronics, furniture, toys, and more — but you’d hate to just throw away?
We offer weekly repairs days to help!
