The Kleptocracy concepts makes it easy to set aside morality in the public eye because there are 2,000 “friends” doing the same thing. The dilution of empathy is “sexy” because the Tech Bros are doing it. The dilution in war time tragedy and accountability is “noble” because of Christian nationalism for example.
