I just realized there should exist a cannon of dystopias that #solarpunk s point to as a warning on what is going to happen if we don't actually #decolonize our supply chains when building solarpunk or keep the capitalist ownership structure when building our green future. To me, the prime example of this is the movie #elysium. A paradise space station in the clouds full of greenery and high tech and loads of lowlifes on the earth, rotting on the wasteland. I was recently shocked that people clapped for a skyscraper with a roof garden with fruits that was showed on Andrew Millison channel. People called it solarpunk! A tiny bunch of locals in the comments pointed out that the workers that keep those gardens up don't enjoy their fruits. They are low pay. The relatively tiny output (1t annually) of that garden goes to a luxury restaurant there and it's reserved only for the VIP to brag it's extra fresh. We should be banging those people with the whole range of dystopian dynamics that it reproduces! @Hex@kolektiva.social dystopia is a tool to warn people. But you warn because it hasn't happened yet. Now, as the scenarios envisioned have happened and we failed to avoid them, it's time to write utopias, to give people hope and a goal. It's super difficult to write a believable utopia when all the moods are down and all the perspectives are grim, we need very talented people to show us what to dream about and how to fight for that dream. #solarpunk #utopia

Zauważyłem niesamowite ubóstwo języka polskiego w nazewnictwie rowerów i teraz staram się przepropagować język polski w solarpunkową przyszłość, gdzie różne typy rowerów są codziennością i mają swoje słowa. Tak jak Inuici, którzy mają 50 określeń na rodzaje śniegu, społeczeństwa mają nazwy na istotne dla nich rzeczy. Zobacz wyrazy bliskoznaczne słowa rower. Bicykl? Welocyped? Nikt tak nie mówi bo to tylko kalki językowe niezgodne z polską fonotaktyką. Typy jakie mamy to damka, góral, tandem, kolarka i składak. Prezentuję moje pomysły. Ramka - metonimia na rower z ramą typu diament, analog określenia damka. Redukuje patriarchalny sznyt z języka, gdzie domyślny rower to rower męski. Ot, ramka i damka, dwa podstawowe typy rowerów. Może badacze etymolodzy będą pamiętali, że damka to był "rower damski" ale w mojej solarpunkowej przyszłości damka to damka a ramka to ramka. Leżak - rower leżący, recumbent. Niby oczywiste ale się nie spotkałem. Kolak - kwadrycykl (boże jak ja nienawidzę słowa kwadrycykl) rowerowy samochodzik na dwa/cztery stanowiska do pedałowania jak teraz w miejscowościach turystycznych. Toczka - monowheel coś takiego: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VKAYtpurcs4 Unos - rower cargo. Jazdun - po prostu rower, synonim, może trochę żartobliwy? Bicykl srycykl. Jazdun kurrrwa! Jak macie pomysły i zażalenia, to piszcie w komentarzach, zależy mi na kolorowym, różnorodnym i fikuśnym pejzażu.
