From the department of strange-shit-happening-to-my-tinnitus....
I was in a day-long virtual Zen meditation retreat yesterday.
During walking meditation between sitting periods yesterday morning, I experienced roughly 15 minutes without tinnitus. (The breaks between sitting rounds last 15 minutes.)
I don't know why it went away. My tinnitus does not go away just like that, on its own. The last time I experienced life without tinnitus (briefly) was when I consumed kava.
I hypothesized that maybe it was the headphones that I had used to listen to a dharma talk just before the walking break, but there was another later dharma talk, and it did not happen again.
Has anyone experienced their tinnitus leaving like this during meditation?
