Yes, You ARE Getting Auto-Rejected According to a viral survey by Enhancv, 92% of recruiters do not use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in order to auto-reject job applicants’ resumes. However, after reviewing all of the research, journalism, and government investigations into AI-driven HR hiring tools, I have determined that claim to be untrue. Not only are most job applicants’ resumes getting auto-rejected most of the time, but there’s a mountain of evidence that they’re getting auto-rejected for all kinds of hidden and absurd reasons that have nothing to do with whether or not they’re qualified for the job. In today’s video, we’re doing a thorough investigation into why the HR industry wants to convince us that ATS tools are “fair” and “objective” when they’re not, what the research actually says, and how perverse incentives in the corporate world are leading HR professionals to zealously support the active destruction of the American job market (yes, it really is that deep). Good morning / afternoon / evening! I am at the #Endorsement #meeting for our local #lgbtq+ #caucus. Right now, a mile-long line of #candidates are getting 30 seconds to speak. We started at the top of the hour. I served on the #screening #committee. The committee screened over 100 candidates. When the proceedings open, the first motion will be to close credentialing. The second will be to accept the #recommendations of our committee.

We are done. We considered one hundred candidates. In most cases, the body accepted the recommendations of the screeners. The takeaway is that candidates who don't engage with us cannot expect to earn our endorsement. Some candidates who earned our endorsement in the primary failed to respond when asked whether they wanted to re-screen or be considered with the questionnaire and scores from the primary. They had three chances and didn't respond. #event #Endorsement #meeting #lgbtq #caucus #candidates #screening #committee #recommendations

These were top of the ticket candidates. The new screening chair gave them the grace to be considered despite their lack of engagement. The body voted to endorse them, but this was a wakeup call. #event #Endorsement #meeting #lgbtq #caucus #candidates #screening #committee #recommendations
