The Institute for Degrowth Studies will host an introduction lecture and group discussion. This is for anyone interested in Degrowth, reduction of production and consumption, improving planetary and human well-being, sharing and community, and related topics. The introductory lecture is primarily for people new to the concept and movement of Degrowth and will give a good overview of the topic. After that we will have an open discussion about specific questions and ideas. This discussion round is intended to both explore Degrowth topics further, and for people new to and already familiar with Degrowth to mingle and exchange thoughts. The more the merrier! We will end (weather-depending) with a 20 min walk around the neighbourhood and explore community initiatives.
