Been few months since we ran Ingles Crk. trail up side gulch from W-fork Canyon. 1850m start, turned back 2230m past 2nd stream crossing. Still green fairly moist, ⚡️⚡️💦💦 last 6 days, until today. So fire danger lower after extreme heat before that 👍🏽. Warm 28C lite breeze open sections kidz were slow. Ingles Crk. always nearby, essential. Science denial is deadly. All-time record heat today Central/Ern MT. 43.5C in BIL (111F) and 46C (115F) Miles City, frightening. 5-10 years out we'll be seeing 50C records. On Beartooth Plateau 3050-3300m 26-28C, probably warmest been up there in 125K years. Tundra rapidly drying but still good snow patches and little ponds for us on our cool escape.
