Inspired by another post about Choose Your Own Adventure, I did a bit of a search about Fighting Fantasy.
Fighting Fantasy books were similar to Choose Your Own Adventure, only there was combat, and you had stats and had an inventory.
For a nerd with friends with limited nerdiness, these books were great!
The 20+ books I had have been lost to time. They reprinted some a few years ago, but unfortunately redid the artwork. The gnarly original art was part of why I loved it so much.
Anyway... lo and behold, they did an art book last year 'Magic Realms - The Art Of Fighting Fantasy'.
I'm doing a psychic high five with 10 year old me!
