Climate forcing: some activities force the climate. The missing words in the climate conversation are not human-caused or climate change, but forcing and attribution to fossil fuels, mining, bovine husbandry, tree plantations, etc. In the same vein, here is an article by Hayley Fowler and Ed Hawkins: https://theconversation.com/was-this-heatwave-caused-by-climate-change-were-asking-the-wrong-question-288637 #attribution #climateForcing #climateChange #fossilFuels
‘Was this heatwave caused by climate change?’ – we’re asking the wrong question

‘Was this heatwave caused by climate change?’ – we’re asking the wrong question

Instead of asking whether climate change caused a heatwave, we should ask how much hotter it became because of fossil fuel emissions.

Replying to
Land and marine heatwaves, droughts, fires, floods, landslides, sea-level rise, super-charged typhoons, weather whiplash. Climate forcing is harmful, fossil energies cause it, we know who the biggest perpetrators are.
