#chatto

@nixCraft@mastodon.social All though there is a lot of rubbish out there, an example of the contrary is https://chatto.run/ - An agentic coded chat app. Frequent good updates and well crafted. #Chatto

Ok, as an alternative to Discord, Chatto (https://github.com/chattocorp/chatto) is looking rather promising.

• AGPL

• can be easily self hosted

• Paid hosting available in EU (better privacy protection)

• Written in Go

• mobile apps on roadmap

• web app is good on both mobile and desktop browsers

• one client can connect to multiple servers

I have a demo instance running on my homelab and I could see opening this up to my friends using tailscale funnels.
