Protest Thread #124: The best laid plans... Well, the protest wasn't bad over all, but it could have gone better. The organizing was a bit chaotic with so many groups involved. That resulted in multiple last minute changes of plans: we initially said we were just going to push speakers along in carts at the back of the march to provide music. Then they said we could do that but they begged us to have a table. They said they'd provide one, and then when we showed up... #50501movement

Well, a bunch of people in my city are walking out of school and work today to protest #ICE attacking our schools and communities. I am going with two of my usual protest buddies and we're tabling with whistle kits and bridge troll swag. We're doing a big march downtown. It's gonna be hot, but I couldn't care less about that. We just might need to make some adjustments for the non-Southerners. Protest Thread #124 will happen some time this afternoon. #FuckICE
