@jasongorman@mastodon.cloud just as the “I want a lollipop” quote from the last #securitynow podcast*, this is also a nice piece of wishdom for Leo la Portes ( @leo@twit.social ) quotes collection. I think 😇.

@Sustainable2050@mastodon.energy ... it is nice & convenient to get from A to B in less time. Still I do understand both sides of the matter. But where is the nuance? A compromise?  My suggestion: "a speedlimit for any car with a combustion engine. And no speedlimit for any full EV".   That will be an incentive for speed loving germans, to move over to an EV. Interesting side effect: While it is very well possible to drive at high speeds in an EV. One will also become very much aware ... 2/3

@Sustainable2050@mastodon.energy This is one of those polarising subjects, especially in Germany. One is very much against a speedlimit, or very much in favor of it. It is accompanied with expressions as "it makes no sense" (for both sides). Personal context: I consider myself as green. And on the left side of political spectrum. But I also like cars and once in while high speeds. That is very very confusing... and lonely. Which party should get my vote? Anyhow, the status quo in Germany suits me well 1/3
