A message from our architect Richard Purdie:
It gives me great pleasure to be able to announce that we have filled
the two recently advertised positions.
I'd like to welcome Paul Barker as our Ecosystem Engineering and
Operations Lead, and Yoann Congal/Smile
as our new LTS maintainer as Steve Sakoman takes a well deserved
retirement.

Are you coming to wonderful Nice for Embedded Recipes? We're joining forces with OpenEmbedded one more time and are looking into gathering/discussion afternoon the day before ER, namely Tuesday May 26.
We are working to gauge interest at https://pretix.eu/OpenEmbedded/ER26meetup/ (no cost associated), so please "sign up". If a large enough audience is to be expected, we set this up and share details.
We're pleased to announce overhaul of the Yocto Project Compatible Layer Program and recognize the first batch of layers to achieve certification V3!
