Even hotter off the press is that the new version of {pointblank} just released a few hours ago!! Among other improvements, you can now just use any {tidyselect} expressions to select columns, instead of using vars()

And @jimgar@hachyderm.io yes, you can extract the failure cases associated with each case if you run the validations on an "agent" object which takes an extra line of code. See get_data_extracts() in this vignette: https://rstudio.github.io/pointblank/articles/VALID-I.html
