@codinghorror@infosec.exchange Also, a few years ago, I think it was Wells Fargo, they required 15+ characters or something like that, but when they initially stored the passwords, they were always being truncated to 10. Other banks have been caught ignoring case further reducing exponential complexity.
I really like the idea of including a 💩 in my future passwords. I will definitely be trying it.
