@tante@tldr.nettime.org There is a Laurie Anderson installation at the Hirschorn modern art museum in DC with this astute observation.

@miffyhelen as owner of one of these, which I bought for other reasons and it just happened to have WiFi, the applications I've found are: it has an app that can yell at me via a push alert if one of the doors gets left open or temps aren't where they're supposed to be, so I can address that if I'm not near the audible alert, and it integrates into my energy monitoring stuff on HomeAssistant so I can see how much power it's using.

@abr @clayton_oneill @mahtin Making sure you've seen this.

Side note, I absolutely *despise* the keyboard on the Dell 16 plus 2 in 1. For such a giant machine, the keyboard is weirdly offset and laid out compared with most other laptops. I think it's because of the numpad and a 98%-ish layout, but the end result is that I'm incapable of typing accurately on it, frequently off-by-one when my hands are in a natural position, plus I keep hitting numlock or delete when I want backspace.

@AvonVilla @inthehands I've identified for years as a militant agnostic: I don't know for sure, and you don't either.
