In the last few years, we have seen a trend of "Americanization" of the solar industry in Canada. Hidden financing charges and high customer acquisition costs leading to higher overall costs. We should be emulating the Australian industry, not the U.S.

@chris@mstdn.chrisalemany.ca You are right that Canadian Tire is an expensive place to buy solar energy. But we don't think that Canadians are disadvantaged right now when it comes to renewable energy. We agree governments and businesses are failing us but mostly because of their promotion of fossil fuels.
