(2/4) Research has revealed the inefficiency and unintended consequences of such initiatives as well as the flaws of a logic, which links increased border control to terrorist attack prevention. We do not see how implementing controls on the German border of over 3,5 thousand kilometres is practically feasible. Despite this, Germany is choosing to pursue policies based on fear and a tense domestic political climate rather than acknowledging the complexity of #migration.
