@RecDiffs@mastodon.social related to the tap water discussion; I work at a recording studio in London and recently had the opportunity to work with a well-known American mixing engineer. As the assistant on the session I was specifically asked to buy bottled water for this person because he is American. Didn’t bat an eyelid at that until hearing you both talking about drinking tap water. I’d always assumed that Americans didn’t drink tap water, as is the case in many other countries, maybe not so?
