Registration is now open for our 2026 Annual Event, taking place on 15–16 June at the University of Southampton and online.
The theme for this year’s event is 🍃 Sustainability🍃 , explored in its broadest sense: from sustaining digital infrastructures and research teams to addressing digital preservation, ethical computing, climate justice, and wider social justice concerns in digital cultural heritage.
Registration fees:
• £35 for standard in‑person attendance
• £20 for students and unwaged attendees
• Free for online participation
The programme brings together colleagues from across sectors to reflect on sustainable methods, practices, and futures for digital humanities.

CIGs are flexible, community-led spaces supporting collaboration and shared interests across digital humanities.
We will support up to 5 new groups in this round.

We are delighted to announce that UK Research and Innovation has awarded £300,000 to the UK‑Ireland Digital Humanities Association through its Digital Research Infrastructure Programme.
Running from February 2026 to March 2028, the programme will strengthen advocacy, community development and sustainability for digital humanities across the UK and Ireland, including new work on education, training and career pathways.

Our pilot Small Grants Scheme for early career DH researchers and GLAM practitioners is now OPEN!
Up to £ 3,000 / € 3,449.26 to support collaborative projects between researchers & GLAM institutions.
