Folks, it is impossible to predict what sessions will fill up and which will have space. If you must be at a session, please arrive with ample time to secure a seat. If a room is full, consider attending another session and enjoy the serendipity of trying something unexpected. Please treat volunteers and helpers with respect. Thank you! #aoir2024
@stevejones@aoir.social reminds us that folks came together in a proto-AOIR form because they couldn’t find space to do their work in their home (traditional) disciplines. Still often true. #aoir2024
Today a third-year doc student gave an _excellent_ paper (among three brilliant ones) on the panel I had the honor of moderating, and twice referenced a deep cut concept of mine. Makes me really want to pick it up again, 15 years later, and I felt really touched that something I’d said like that mattered. #aoir2024
