mastodon 4.7.3#UBI stands for Universal Basic Income.
It is a regular income from the government that would be given to #everyone to cover their basic needs without means testing.
I want a #UBI4ME and I want a UBI for everyone. Join us to make it a reality.
Do you live in the USA and want to know what #UBI could give you?
Why not try the UBI calculator and see which UBI plan works out best for you 🤓

We will talk about how to transition to UBI. Will it be rolled out to everyone at the same time? Will there be a rush to quit jobs? Mass enrolment at universities? Who will automate the shitty jobs?
What will you do with your first UBI? What will you do with the 100th UBI “transfer”cheque”?
Tell us what you think.

Where will governments find all the soldiers for the brewing conflict?
Within a well looked after population receiving a Universal Basic Income?
Or from a population that has been squeezed to the point of having no other option than sign up to the military?
Will rich people need to join the military also?
What do you think?
Friendly reminder that today's discussion on #UBI will start promptly at 16:00 UTC 🥳
Topic: Citizens or residents – who should receive a UBI?
