mastodon 4.8.0-nightly.2026-10-06I'm a simple person. I like the song => I post it here.
It's mostly rock and pop, with some rap and a bit of electronic music. I'm trying to keep it diverse but you can see my tastes. I like folk motives mixed with modern sound.

ZWYNTAR — Kazhany 1983 (Bats) / #GothicRock
>What if Ukraine in the 80s was part of Europe, not the Soviet Union?
>"KAZHANY 1983" is a vision of an alternative universe of the 1980s, where Ukrainian gothic sounds next to Bauhaus, Siouxie and the Banshees and Fields of the Nephilim (hence the lyrics in Latin).
>Some dance moves are taken from the legendary early Internet meme tutorial "How to dance gothic"

>Its author, Borys Buievskyi, belonged to a generation of artists who lived under Soviet censorship, where excessive “Ukrainianness” and criticism of the authorities could cost one’s career. He did not shy away from this line—and was ultimately effectively erased from the professional sphere. His music remained. His name—disappeared for a long time.
