My Thinkpad x230 from 2013 is still going strong so I haven’t felt the need yet to buy a new laptop.

I’ve been following #framework since the initial launch though (and even put down money on the original preorder which I cancelled due to other circumstances at the time) so I’ve always been really excited to see a company strive to make an easy to upgrade and repairable laptop.

So at some point when my x230 no longer suits my needs, Framework was going to be the replacement.

But unless they make some serious backtracking on their “a little bit of fascism is good actually” approach, I’m going to have to look elsewhere and also encourage others to look elsewhere as well.

Hello everyone : )

This account on Hachyderm was originally a backup account for me while I was on mastodon.lol, so this is just where I landed due to circumstances at the time.

While it's been my home for the last few months, this account will be returning to backup status (which is why I'm not migrating it).

My new account is now @totalclaireity@toot.lgbt

Please request a follow over there if you wish 😺

Lol just like The Onion, The Beaverton never misses 😂

If you want to win the game… you need to score some goals.

If you want to score some goals… you need to shoot the puck AT THE BLOODY NET!

Updating this account this morning to bring it more in line with my primary account @totalclaireity@toot.lgbt

Apologies to anyone who will receive notifications on previous introduction posts etc being edited, I'll try and keep it to a minimum : )

If you follow me here and don't follow me over there be sure to request a follow over there if you want to see what I'm up to.

I don't use this account much because it is a backup account after all.

It’s over on my main account but here’s a hashtag for my current prop sword build : ) #totalclaireitySwordBuild

Probably going to do a following/follower cleanup soon.

If you’re following me and you meet the following criteria you will probably be blocked/unblocked (which I assume will remove the follow):

- No/very low number of posts
- No profile information
- Have not really interacted with me since following
- Old accounts that have migrated to other instances/that no longer exists (ie: mastodon.lol accounts)
