My political views are definitely not hateful, if that's what you were referring to... Realistic political ideas? Yes. Controversial political topics? Potentially. Hateful? Never said that much. Also, what does my instance have to do with anything. What's next? Fat shaming? Shaming my hair color? How mature.

@pan@social.treehouse.systems There are SO many controversial topics that are not hateful in any way whatsoever. If you don't know me, why did you start about hateful? Also: the take about Fosstodon is just weird. Look at the amount of active users on your instance compared to Fosstodon, and imagine how many more mods Fosstodon needs. Of course "bad" ones will be assigned every so often if you have to have that many mods. Still, doesn't say *anything* about the users. Anyway, enough trolling please.

@bragefuglseth@sunny.garden The exact same thing goes for people who DO want politics in software development. Only specific views are allowed. I don't think I would be allowed to express all MY political views in issues/PRs. For this reason, I think it's better to keep ALL politics out of software development, and keep them for project forums, social media or day-to-day conversations.
