Slow Motion Walter
Gen-X, raised on #70sRock and #60sJazz, enthusiastically embraced #90sAlt, have branched out from there.
I was in a band called Thermous a million years ago. We took third place in the campus battle of the bands.
This is where I blather about music, which often leads to onion belt stories about the things it reminds me of.
As the old person that I am, I reserve the right to occasionally mope and/or yell at clouds

mashup of "Thank You For Being a Friend" and "We're an American Band"
pretty hyped for the new Tele Novella album, I hope they announce a date and preorders soon

If things go according to plan, next week I'll get to visit one of my favorite record stores for the first time in an upsetting number of years 🥹
Their original ramshackle location, and the "new" satellite store they used to have are long gone 🥺
but photos of the current location look like they've retained the vibe 🥹
Whatever other treasures I might find, maybe I can finally get a t-shirt 🤞
Everything changes (even change itself)
Dang man, I am just not vibing with the new QOTSA singles to the extent I usually do
and that's fine, everything changes, this too shall pass etc, and I'm still going to buy the album
but there's that thing where it feels a little bit like being broken up with
