@jendrik@mastodon.social This is actually significantly better than what it sounded like when this was originally announced. I don't like Google locking Android down, but this feels like a decent compromise between security and customizability.

@jendrik@mastodon.social So here's the fun thing: The AI companies managed to get enough government contracts by now that the inevitable crash will be worse than 2008 for everyone except those responsible. They'll get massive bailouts due to defense contracts. 🫠
Who needs Renovate or Dependabot when there is a much more convoluted, less accurate, nondeterministic, expensive, and more energy-intensive way to achieve the same thing!
