Hiya everyone!
It's the next month, and as such the monthly update for the No-AI list is now publicly available!
We've added tons of new entries just this month alone, easily doubling the lists' length, while also doing some other changes:
- We have added "Marks" that identify whether a project is proprietary, comes from an upstream which uses AI or similar (this doesn't include all dependencies, dependency scanning is out-of-scope)
- Headers now have an underline to make reading the list easier
- The CONTRIBUTING.md is now clearer in how to contribute
- You can now contribute directly via forgejo, just register with Codeberg and wait for approval. You can speed this up by sending Alexia an email notifying her that you registered.
- Some projects' evidence was updated, as they have since adopted more clear No-AI policies
we hope the software and their developers are praised and celebrated for their craft, and we hope that this list is useful to you!
and, although this update isn't a joke, happy april fools
