@laird@hachyderm.io Not our use case. We'll stick with our ~2009 era HP; it replaced both a B&W HP LaserJet 6MP & a Epson color inkjet. The HP CP 2025DN Laserjet is color (CMY & B) fast, networked, duplex, supports PostScript, and course as a Laserjet doesn't clog or have ink dry out. And of course, that will run forever. After the bomb drops, it will be Keith Richards, the cockroaches and that printer.

I need #18650batteries, used in (among other things) Electrolumens Firesword V and NiteCore P12 Flashlights.

These are not something you get at a Safeway or Walgreens. You can order them from Amazon but the brand for most of THEM are labeled as "Generic", which instills as about much confidence as having Kristi Noem as your weapons range safety officer.

Suggestions of a good source for 18650 batteries?

p.s. I don't think I'd call something that lasts 8 minutes a mere flicker. To me a flicker is something that you primarily notice that the UPS ticked on and back off again immediately … and you may not even notice at all until it does it again in 30 seconds.

Or did the devices puke immediately and you just didn't notice for eight minutes?

And your personal use case for a 6.4 Tbps L3 switch is?

Are you a subcontractor for SkyNet?

Oh, bother.

RPN Calc 11c (my preferred MacOS RPN calculator) has two important features:

• Faithful Emulation of HP 11C
• Accepts keyboard input

(Why the MacOS Calculator application only accepts mouse input to add 2 + 2 is beyond me!)

Apple is now warning about the sunset of Rosetta, and RPN Calc 11c was last updated in 2022 and is Intel only.

Suggestions for a good ~1980s HP RPN calculator emulator for MacOS running on Apple Silicon?

@laird@hachyderm.io not everybody over specifies the Kea configuration. I do it all with flat files. I think my Raspberry Pi shipped with a "lease-database": of type "memfile". On my server, the leases go in an included flat file: <?include "/etc/bind/master/generated.dhcp_kea.include_ipv4_address"?> (I mailed the Kea configuration file to you.) My DNS/DHCP post-edit-update Makefile (which generates the include file) also does a: systemctl restart kea-dhcp4-server.service Of course, this means that my DNS/DHCP Makefile, the generated include file, and the DHCP server all run on the same machine. I am not showing all work. For example the Makefile invokes a 642 Python line script that takes the simple flat file that I edit and generates the DNS zones files, IBM host files, UNIX host files, ssh config files and DHCP include files, but you're a bright guy.
