I can finally share the cover for THE WORST MONK IN OMNU, out next May from Angry Robot!
It's the story of Diligence-and-Care-in-All-Things, a Buddhist-style monk with really terrible karma, who goes on pilgrimage to try and stop disasters from happening all around them -- only to discover more (and weirder) trouble along the road . . .

Just over 24 hours left, and this anthology Kickstarter is only ***$62*** away from goal!
Two weeks until THE WRITER'S LITTLE BOOK OF METER comes out! And while this one is aimed at poets, prose writers, there's a fair bit to be said for staying aware of the rhythmic patterns of your words:

This is your periodic reminder that word of mouth moves more books than any formal advertising! I invite you to rec something you've recently enjoyed -- preference for the stuff that's *not* already extremely well-known and talked about everywhere.
You can now buy Vol. 9 of @oldmoonquarterly.bsky.social, with my alliterative Norse-style Huginn and Munnin poem "Thought and Memory"! Available in ebook and print:

Five years after writing poetry became A Thing I Do, I have made it to my goal -- settled on just last week -- of writing 100 poems I consider successful! I posted about the saga here . . .

Given how wild a ride the opening days have been in the #Kickstarter for LADY TRENT'S FIELD JOURNAL, I think I need to do a catch-up thread! For starters, now there will be two volumes, both available as coloring books or fully-colored art books. #ProjectsWeLove

One last reminder -- since the project name is now less than fully descriptive -- that there are also colored "artbook" options for both Vol. I and Vol. II, if you're not interested in the orginal coloring book version! #Kickstarter #ProjectsWeLove

One last addition to LADY TRENT'S FIELD JOURNAL, as we head into the final week: I've added more full-color Scholar's Editions for Vol. I, for those of you who want the artbook version, bringing that up to par with the numbers for Vol. II!
