okay that was maybe a poor phrasing, an awesome meshtastic node

does anyone know how physical calculators avoid floating point imprecisions? it occurs to me that i have never seen something that looks like them on a calculator, which is odd because i assume they use something like an IEEE 747 implementation. is it that they have some sort of detection and just truncate the display?
