@greenpeace@mastodon.social you may choose plastic bottle or glas bottle, tomatoes in plastic folie or loose ones, etc, etc. Many goods have a plastic free option - and look what's in their shopping baskets... That's the reason for plastic production. I am really tired of blaming others for our own bad. It is in our own hands!

@greenpeace does anyone believe a generation using AI instead of reading, understanding, learning will be able to stand up against a technology that fully determins their lives and cannot be questioned? By the way, the phenomenom is not that new. It was called plagiarism before.

@ArboristManuel@nrw.social @greenpeace@mastodon.social I fully agree. Nevertheless, quite a few decisions should be clearly obvious to the government, yet they still aren’t being done. On the one hand, so-called lobbying is holding things back; on the other, investment protection measures are slowing things down. Nonetheless, even a 5–10% drop in sales volume is already causing major problems for manufacturers. Our influence is not nearly as limited as we are led to believe.

@greenpeace the current situation could serve governments as eye-opener. Fossile energies make state vunerable to blackmail and costs lots of money you literaly burn. Unfortunately it does not happen to a degree that reason would suggest. Fight corruption!

@TheVinylApe Saw Ween for the first and only time in Eindhoven somewhen early 90th. Did not know them before and it was quite a thing that drums came from a drum machine. I remember that concert not only because of the music, but also because we could smoke our joints without tension about the police. Only 30 kilometers from the German border that was pure freedom. 30+ years later still touching.

If you look for a dope but still dynamic dub #vinyl this Family Man Barrett recording might be worth a try. This is a budget version of the very rare original Clocktower release on the RAS reissue label. A well balanced and straight forward print.

For everyone who is longing for a change, look at yourself. What can I do? And think hard. There is a lot but it may hurt, might make things more complex. As always, the easy way is the wrong one.

Just as the oil industry tries to convince us that we cannot have a secure energy supply without oil and gas, the chemical industry is pulling the wool over our eyes by claiming that our food supply would collapse without its toxins. These industries are ruthless and wealthy and they will never stop bribing our governments. Fight corruption!

'Times have changed' , a recording from the Impressions is a #vinyl that I certainly should listen to more often. Just cool!

#katharinareichre 's building renovation bill is clearly tailored solely to her cronies in the oil industry. Yet it jeopardises Germany’s climate targets and increases Germany's dependence on fossil fuels. And, would you believe it, it’s being passed anyway. Fight corruption!

I think Mr Trump is more careful not to trample anything on his golf course than he is in his foreign policy. Perhaps he doesn’t realise that flowers he has trampled on with his heavy boots won’t spring back to life afterwards.

Wow, the new trend in the White House: rioters and murderers are being compensated for attacking political opponents. If that doesn’t wake you up, there’s really no hope for you. Is this already the end of the oldest democracy? The mid-term elections will decide. Would be a victory for Xi and Putin and bad news for Europe, too.

Whilst the glaciers are melting and the mountains are sliding into the valleys, the government is concerned about technological openness. If the Alpine glaciers have disappeared in a few years’ time, what will the Rhine or the Danube look like then? The word for this might be ‘wadi’

Baby Face Willette is a cool swinging organ player. Stop and Listen is a perfect trio recording on the Blue Note label. He is with Grant Green one of my favourite jazz guitarists. This is the Rudi van Gelder Mono #vinyl - it's so lively

Germany is debating retirement at 70, whilst recruitment agencies focus more on training than on work experience and don’t hire people over 50 anyway. Germany is suffocating under its own arrogance

I very much like the voice of Stanley Turrentine's saxophone. Here he can be heard on a live recording from early 60th with Grant Green. A cool swinging #vinyl on the Blue Note label.

Whom could Xi possibly address with "the world is at risk of law of the jungle" while he threatens his neighbours and Putin covering Ukraine with bombs? Don't want to experience how it might look like the moment the world is under law of the jungle.
Also wonder what Putin and Xi consider a fair world...

Climate change is already the driving force behind current inflation. It won't get any better with global warming. Stability in a world that is falling apart is nothing more than a pipe dream. Please, folks, bear this in mind when making your decisions!

The US tobacco industry is sponsoring a significant portion of the new ballroom, and suddenly the head of the health department discovers just how beneficial the effects of nicotine are on the human body. Can you believe it? How far can craziness get?

UAE starts war in Sudan to get a hand on gold and agricultural sources. UAE is so rich, do they need to steal from a poor country?
Can money plunge a country into agony and nobody care?
Obviously, as the war has developed to one of the biggest humanitarian crisis on earth and strangely noone holds UAE responsible.
Is it due to racism? Or is there a promised share of the spoils? Or both? Folks, where do we want to go?

Obviously Germany is going to miss all its climate targets for 2040. So what?
Science dropped the worst scenario RCP8.5 which predicted the fastest temperature rise. Resulting in all cool then attitude, I've always told you it wouldn't be half as bad. Time to relax and keep the good times rolling

@greenpeace@mastodon.social unfortunately most consumers pollute according their budgets. On top, the urgency of action is not fully present in their foreheads. Desinformation and human nature work as unholy allies.
