for #KpopMonday #SecondLook, I nominate Megaverse by #StrayKids
the song hits hard.
the bit that blows my head off is where #Changbin comes striding out of the elevator wearing a white veil and rapping like he wants me dead

Last #StrayKids song that I'm picking for this week's #KpopMonday theme is Super Bowl, in which the members are working in a diner.
https://youtu.be/hV8PSY7s7VQ#WorkHard #skzSuperBowl
Today at work I showed one of my colleagues some photos of my kpop children, including this photo of #BangChan from an awards show performance last year.
My colleague commented with surprise on the size of his muscles, as if they did not expect such a thing of anyone in kpop.
I didn't pick this photo with his muscles in mind, it just happened to be the most recent photo of Channie that I'd saved on my phone. Mostly because of the expression and the nose and the lips.
Perhaps I have become kinda desensitised to it??
Oh yeah, it's a day ending in a Y, and Christopher's showing off his muscles again.
This new TEST video from skz is supposed to be a found-footage horror thing that, um, isn't that scary, but they're having fun, bless them.
Seungmin has had to reduce his appearance in most skz content cos he wasn't resting enough and his ankle wasn't getting better, but he still manages to get a split second appearance in this one. It was tricky to slow it down enough to grab the single frame where the 'reactor' morphs into Seungmin sitting at the same desk and wearing the same shirt.
Don't know what it means but I'd like to imagine that Seungmin is a terrifying villain who is somehow orchestrating whatever scary things are happening.

In #Megaverse, #StrayKids members take turns harrassing a security guard working in the monitoring room. Why are they harassing him? No idea.

sorry, now I'm obsessively thinking about #SluttySeungmin in these shorts with slouchy knee socks, mary-janes, and a fucking pussybow blouse under a cropped blazer.
The outfit itself was already cunty, and then Seungmin had to pose like *this*, and it killed me, and I've been speaking to you from beyond the grave ever since.
(From one of the Rock-Star concept photoshoots)
I didn't have any new ideas for this #manicure so I went back to an old favourite and took my Rock-Star (slutty bathroom version) album to #MittyNails.
I asked nails_andclawssummer to use the #skzRockStar album art as inspo, but not to copy the last mani I had based on this inspo. https://www.instagram.com/nails_andclawssummer
my faves are the thumb with "lala" on it, and the pink index finger with the taped-on blue bit.
this #SeungminOfTheMonth is suitable for the cover of Non-Threatening Boys magazine
got home to a surprise parcel! what treat did I buy for myself and then forget about?
it's: the perfume that Seungmin mentioned he's been wearing recently (Maison Margiela Bubble Bath).
because I decided that I really needed to know what Seungmin's perfume smells like.
and somehow it didn't occur to me that I could just go to the perfume area of a department store and ask to try a sample.
anyway! it's actually pretty nice and I can see myself wearing it regularly.

okay I've changed my mind cos I haven't seen anyone else post it yet, and it *has* to get posted, right?? 😁
#ChkChkBoom by #StrayKids for this week's #KpopMonday theme of #UnPocoMas
it's the performance video this time cos I'm shallow and they all look hot in it

back when I got my first official #PuppyM and #WolfChan, I told myself that I'd get a #FoxINy next.
then, uhhh, I kept obtaining more PuppyMs, and somehow got distracted from my intention to obtain a FoxINy.
today, after brunch, @sharpestrose.bsky.social said they wanted to go look in I Heart Kpop without any specific goals in mind.
as always, I'm easily persuaded to go to I Heart Kpop. Somehow I keep giving them more money in exchange for goods.
They rarely have the full-size official skzoos on the shelves (usually only pre-orders), but today they had 3 Jinirets and a single FoxINy. So I took this as a sign from the universe that I needed to bring FoxINy home with me to join his canid bros.
(It's the first time that I've seen Jiniret as the last one in stock -- he usually goes pretty fast. Sorry Jiniret!)
I LOVE IT
No idea about the music yet (only tiny snippets of it in the trailer), but the trailer itself is freaky and amazing.
Apparently all those weird alternate versions of the members are CGI, not AI?? I don't have any solid evidence for that, but other commenters are saying it, and I'm crossing my fingers that they're right.
Anyway: so many gender-swapped versions of everyone! I love all the gender-swapped versions so much. 😍
(Except no gender-swapped Seungmin, who had to have a much smaller role cos of his injury.)

The #RunIt outfits actually had some red in them, but it all got color-graded (?) out.
I'm halfway through episode 48 of #ChansRoom and wasn't expecting it to become one of my favourites.
I'd somehow forgotten how much fun #Felix can be when he's silly and random.
This is the episode in which he presents the egg that someone gave him. (The provenance of the egg remains a mystery to this day.) I have seen Felix's mystery egg in many compilations but hadn't seen it in context before. It makes about as much sense in context as out of it.

any time the stylists put Seungmin in shorts, I'm reminded of just how shallow I am.
eeeee I am charmed by this bit of #ChansRoom episode 46.
#BangChan saw a video of a cat watching his livestream. so, at the end of this episode, he does some things intended to entertain any cats and dogs that might be watching.
I don't have any cats or dogs nearby to test it on, but it does really seem like something cats and/or dogs would be intrigued by.
if you have a cat and/or a dog, show them this bit of Chan's Room and see if they care about it at all. I want to know!
Alas the video resolution is very low, but the movements and noises still come across effectively I think.

@pixelcats@apobangpo.space I love it! 🎉
The animated part looks like it might be by the same artist as the animation from "Hold My Hand" which would be a sweet little connection if true.
(I have a minor gripe that the MV was edited to suggest Han's playing the guitar solo, when it's clear from other parts of the MV that he's playing rhythm guitar.)
(actually i'd like to know more about the other musicians in the video, and how the song was recorded. it seems like more of a rock band sound than we normally get from any of skz.)

@jlm@mastodon.world if that's their reason for harrassing him, it seems like a disproportionate response 😂
today #I_N is doing a cat personality test on #LeeKnow (to follow yesterday's dog test for Seungmin).

in a noisy cafe where I can faintly hear music that seems familiar.
wait, is that Road Not Taken by skz?? that's a deep cut for a place that has never played K-pop before in my experience.
ahaha no it's not. it's some other EDM track that has almost exactly the same beat and bassline. when it got quiet enough to hear the treble, it was clearly not K-pop of any kind
