@garius A product my employer used for a decade was bought out by oracle through another acquisition. Luckily the product was already sunset and there was only a six month overlap between EOL and the acquisition. Two years later we are still fighting bills incurred after EOL date. Sales order vs opportunities something or other. Trying to explain to CFO how Oracle is a money machine not a tech company made me sound like a crazy person. I think he is starting to get it now.

@pejacoby@infosec.exchange @digigeek@mastodon.social Do they only have select beers from each brewery or is it all of the brewery's available cans?

@digigeek@mastodon.social I'm trying to imagine how the oak impacts it. I love barrel aged beers, and I love barley wines, but I'm having a hard time putting them together in my head. Lol Gonna have to hunt this down and taste it for myself.

@digigeek@mastodon.social Oh what an abomination! I'm intrigued... How was it?

@BeautifulSunPhotography@sfba.social I hope you're able to focus on the wonderful memories from the past and can see beyond the future absence. He is in your heart, so will always be with you. Listen for his voice in your mind when you need to feel that connection. My mom passed last Jan, and I hear her all the time. "Well, you could do that, but there may be a better way." And she's right as always.

@annika@xoxo.zone When I'm rushing to get out the door in the mornings, it is like 2 minutes. Other times, I put the bag in and walk away to do chores while I wait. An hour later I'll remember it and just leave the bag in while I drink it.

@gregthemiller Oh, thank goodness. I thought there was something wrong with me and that I was going out of fashion because I was getting old. Guess I'm just a trend setter

@amberage @triz I'm all for forums as long as there aren't giant signature blocks filled with gifs and awards.

@Waitnwallflower@beige.party WF: "Son, what are you talking about? I put the snowmen away." Son: "Look, right there under the tree branch!" WF: "OMG, how did that get there?!?!? I swear I put him away! It must be you! They're after you! Oh well, good night, sleep tight"

@digigeek@mastodon.social Looks like this is from New Zealand and unlikely to be available here in the US. Guess I'll just have to keep trying to imagine it :ablobsadpats: I'll have to find a crazy brewery around here that makes something similar.
