Having a pocketknife with the required screwdriver to disassemble the espresso machine at the coffee shop my daughter manages felt like Peak Dad. I just stopped for coffee. 😜

So yeah, I’m still alive. The rumors of my death have been slightly exaggerated.

A year ago tomorrow, I turned 50. I decided I’m going to Benjamin Button the next 50, so tomorrow I’m back to 49.

I can do that, right?

My creativity peaks with “well toasted bread” most weeks. My wife, on the other hand, chose to create a “resist” sweater, adapted from a shawl pattern. FOR HER VERY FIRST KNITTING PROJECT EVER.

It happened! It finally happened!!! (Our farm sold!)

One of the best things about having a questionable memory when something you posted (but don’t remember) pops up and it makes you laugh because that dude has the same messed up sense of humor you do…

My ADHD meds don’t help with ADHD much, but they work better to battle depression than any anti-depressant I’ve ever taken. It’s incredible and I’m blessed by the weird reality of it.

But ADHD meds have a very short half life, and if I miss a day (thanks, #ADHD), I’m immediately reminded of the razor’s edge I balance upon over the darkest depths of depression.

On vacation with my sweetie, today we were treated to a day at the Texas RenFest — it was so incredible!!!

I’ve manned a lot of soundboards in many venues over the years. Nothing warms my cold heart like a singer/speaker with good mic control. :)
