A few days ago I wanted to purchase a domain for my CSS layout course, but it was taken, so I purchased another one.

Two days ago, I sent a newsletter announcing the release date of my CSS course and asked for beta testers.
The response was beyond anything I expected. I spent ~3 hours reading every email and making some really tough decisions on who to select.

That moment when I removed a section titled "Real world example" from one of my course modules because the previous explanations are actually real world examples and I'm over-explaining the topic.

@nicod@diaspodon.fr Lol! It happens to the best of us. I probably purchased it while asleep/not focused and I ended up forgetting about it!
@stefanfrede@mastodon.social That's true, and it's a sad fact. A developer I worked with who is used to ready-made frameworks struggled to build a simple 3 cols news section for an editorial layout. The reason is simple, he got so used to using pre-made stuff that he forgot how to write CSS.
