Necessary tutorial • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) Personally, I really felt a need to shift from digital games to playing more board games when I was spending more than 10-12 hours a day behind a computer screen (including working hours, of course). Don’t get me wrong, digital games… Continue reading Necessary tutorial

Twisted Thoughts • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) Of course, we don’t wish any ill tidings to anybody who loves and/or works in the board game industry. These are just dark thoughts from people who have too little time to keep up with the swift currents of the industry… Continue reading Twisted Thoughts

BGG Complexity Ratings • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) Pfew, summer has arrived (before it officially started), and temperatures are ranging between 28 and 34 degrees Celsius around here. Neither of us are not huge fans of high temperatures, so you will mostly find us inside these days, where we’re… Continue reading BGG Complexity Ratings

Euro Withdrawal • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) Not going into the whole “what is a board game?” debate, because we kinda did that with our last Lion & Gazelle comic – but I get Heinze’s remark here. He quite regularly plays either miniature or card games with certain… Continue reading Euro Withdrawal

Although we’re pretty… Continue reading Hot Takes

Rain Check • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) With the weather these past weeks, we didn’t have to pray to any rain gods – it’s been raining loads! But since I’m a person who appreciates a happy garden, I’m glad it hasn’t been scorching hot and dry these past… Continue reading Rain Check

Evolution of our game collection • Semi Co-op

Of course, serious-themed games are still made, and there were also silly games back in the day. But in our own collection, we’ve noticed an increase in silliness. A lovely, lovely example is the game Magical Athlete. It’s a party game pur sang, so don’t expect loads of depth from this game, but I honestly… Continue reading Evolution of our game collection

Scary stories • Semi Co-op

Dit bericht op Instagram bekijken   Een bericht gedeeld door Semi Co-op (@semicoop) We almost put a little raccoon in the background as an easter egg to Leder Games’ new Executive Director, but Heinze quickly realized that Arcs is, in fact, no longer a Leder Games title but is now from Buried Giant Studios.… Continue reading Scary stories
