Clinician-scientist Dr. Gregory P. Veldhuizen, MD PhD, conducted cutting-edge medical research during a two-month exchange at Pearson Lab, University of Chicago. The collaboration with Kather Lab of SECAI focused on head and neck cancer treatment, combining expertise in Clinical AI. Thanks to the Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health for administrative support.

Day two of the Touch Sensing and Processing Summer School is complete. Today the participants had the opportunity to go on an excursion to Saxon Switzerland, after which they could see Dresden's old town from a historic steamboat and were given a short tour around the city. The weather was on our side. Tomorrow the programme continues with a series of talks.

The first participants are now arriving at our Touch Sensing and Processing Summer School at the Jugendgästehaus Liebethal. In the coming days, they will receive input from world leaders in touch sensing and processing, participate in discussions and present their research.

The Free State is reaffirming its commitment to developing innovative prevention and treatment methods by laying the foundation stone for a new building for the DKFZ Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum in Dresden on 23 July.
