Seattle Bike Blog is now third-party-tracker-free. Finally figured out how to get rid of two persistent trackers (wp and cloudflare stats). All our web traffic stats are now tracked via a self-hosted Matomo instance, and all our ads are self-hosted as well. It's possible you'll still hit trackers from embedded media from time to time, especially in the archive, but I do my best to use no-cookie versions of embeds whenever possible.

It’s part of my ongoing effort to own more of my own work and not rely too heavily on another platform. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.

I apologize to customers who receive a gauche out-of-season winter stamp. Bruce Lee and baby animals stamps should arrive very soon.
I enjoyed Cascade’s Bike Everywhere Lunch yesterday, but my favorite part may have been when the crowd was clapping for sponsors and nobody clapped for Waymo then everyone laughed.
