Schmitz' Katze

[English version in the next post]
Hallo Fediverse!
23 in Wuppertal Elberfeld. Komm doch mal vorbei!

Hello, Fediverse!
This is the profile of Schmitz' Katze, a cultural and community pub in #wuppertal (germany) and we're #newHere
Named after the Wuppertal anarcho-syndicalist and resistance fighter against the Nazis, Hans Schmitz, we founded the association Schmitz’ Katze e.V. in the summer of 2020 to create a space for self-managed living and working: non-hierarchical, based on solidarity, and emancipatory. Since 2021, we’ve been running our pub at Hochstr. 23 in Wuppertal Elberfeld. Come check us out!
In addition to delicious drinks and good company, we also host regular cultural and political events on topics such as #antifascism, #anarchism, #communism, #feminism, and much more.
We’ll now be posting regular updates about events like these and other stuff here in the Fediverse.
