Right you lot, I had intended to keep Mastodon (Tusky) notifications on, because I wanted to be proactive and engaged in the first phase of my choosing to become active here.
Well, turns out it's getting busy enough that I have to turn those off too, just as I do with all other social media!
This is good news. I think I will do well here - thank you for the welcome, and here's to a more distributed internet from now on into the future :)

Tomorrow I will be testing out remote working for the new place for the first time.
They're totally cool with it, only I shall have to be on my toes to remember meetings without someone telling me - the #flow-state / #hyperfocus happens fast with me and I forget other things are happening
@RayNewman@mastodon.social some people are CWing food, so those with disorders can avoid them - CW for politics seems like a good idea, or obvs other potentially disturbing topics.
In some ways I think it's OK to feel our way forward on this.

You posts also won't come with, but you should still be able to visit your old account with your new one and boost the important ones.
