@AndreasThinks@fosstodon.org thanks so much! and while open is absolutely the way, I remain skeptical of "open" efforts by the big names in LLM. This one is from the folks at LAION & Stable Diffusion. The OpenAI one used to be open, until it wasn't, and suddenly all that collab work went pfffpt. And 'open' is one among many values necessary, but alone is not enough. Really curious to follow this project, thanks for flagging it!
